West Monroe's cases are conversational. Practicing silently in your head will not prepare you for the collaborative, dialogue-driven format. Find a partner and practice 5 to 10 cases out loud. Focus on asking good clarifying questions and explaining your reasoning step by step.

 

Step 3: Research Your Specific Practice Area

 

West Monroe hires into specific practice areas like M&A, healthcare, energy, or technology. Read recent news and case studies from the West Monroe website related to your practice area. During the skills interview, you will need to demonstrate industry awareness.
